Lambeth Conference 2008

The Main 'Big Top' Venue
Held every ten years the Lambeth Conference gathers representatives from the Anglican communion to Canterbury University. Reelife were involved early in the planning process and the scope of our involvment grew as we approached the event and as more detail was added to the outline programme. We provided cameras and projection in the main ‘Big Top’ venue as well as in the spouses venue and installed a temporary Avid suite for use by Trinity Wall Street who were filming various aspects of the event.
To reduce the carbon footprint Lambeth decided to install digital signage across the campus to keep the delegates updated on venue and program change.
We also provided sound, lighting and audio visual for the 140 or so fringe events and bible study groups along with technicians to support them and installed 3 temporary radio studios and liased with broadcasting companies from around the world providing video feeds and copies of session recordings.
This was one of our biggest conferences to date with over 20 crew on site across the 4 weeks of the build, running and breakdown of the conference. Our thanks go to all the camera crew and av engineers who made this possible and especially to Alan Wallace and Andy Bartlett from Affinity Events for choosing Reelife.

We provided at 25 foot by 9 foot truss frame screen with two edge-blended projectors with an additional pair as hot-swap backups. Our new Di-ventix II provided control with multiple presets and layer. We provided three Sony cameras which fed into our Panasonic MX-70 vision mixer along with stage prompting, a feed for the signer and feeds to plasma screens throughout the venue.
Our experienced crew integrated with the Baptist technical team to provide the audio visual infrustructure.
Reelife also provided all the technical equipment for the alternative prism venue. (4 Plasma screens, power distribution, sound and lighting) The venue was setup by our team and operated by a crew from Baptist Assembly. We provided an on-call technician to assist if any technical issues arose.
Chosen Conference

The second year of this new conference from Kingdom Life Church in Kendal. Reelife were asked to manage and supply all technical aspects of this conference which included sound, lighting, projection, screens and recording.
We had a very short get in time of just 5 hours in which to assemble staging, lighting, backdrop, sound, projection and recording and sound check the band. This combined with a limited number of crew due to budget contraints made this a challenge. Careful planning combined with our top quality crew allowed us to meet the deadline.
Another outing for our HK Contour line array system which was floor stacked, ideal for the tiered seating in the venue. Our new Panasonic PT-D5700 projectors again provided excellent image reproduction for live camera and video playback
